That's because we tend to hear mixed messaging when it comes to this yoga alignment issue:

  • On the one hand, we're often taught that we should keep our pelvis "square" in twists.

  • But on the other hand, we're also often taught that we should not square the pelvis; we should instead let the pelvis turn with the spine in twists.

These are two opposite instructions for the same body part in the same type of yoga pose. Confusing, right?? 🤔 Which instruction is correct?
